Ok, it's not really a fair winning zucchini but it is fairly large.  I think you're supposed to pick them sooner.  This one measures 12 inches long, 13 inches around and nearly 4 pounds.   That's one thing that Washington can grow really well...zucchinis.

For those that are wondering, nooo...no more birthday's this week.  I'm sitting here contemplating using my recumbent bike this morning.  My diet hasn't been the best and I've put on a few pounds.  20 minutes couldn't hurt...

After making the Tigger cake for Debbie's birthday, her daughter Katie requested a kitty cake.  Not just any kitty cake but one that looked like her cat Toby.  Of course Toby isn't one solid color.  Toby is white with brown splotches in odd places.  So if you're wondering why Toby the cake is not symmetrical, that is why.

No, I'm not leaving Microsoft to become a pastry chef.  I have a long way to go to become even an average cake decorator.  I don't mind being a beginner.  It is fun and as long as the people I make them for enjoy them, I'll make more.  Alex has informed me he wants a cheese monster cake.  I have no idea what that looks like, but you can tell he's mine.  :)

Yes, that is a bear mold.  Wilton uses a bear mold for several of it's animals.  You're supposed to build up the ears with icing.  Yes, it was enough icing to put anyone in to sugar shock.  Toby was tasty btw.
